         FEBRUARY 2025 MESSAGE

 

 

Can you believe how fast January flew by!!  It seems like yesterday we were celebrating the new year and now we are celebrating the Year of the Snake, Mardi Gras and the Super Bowl.

 

I want to express my appreciation for the great showing we had for our open house on January 25th.  As I made my way through our attendees, I was pleased to see the smiles and hear the laughter as everyone enjoyed our remodeled facility. The Shack is truly a place to gather to enjoy the many facets of Amateur Radio.

 

It was great to hear the excitement from Tom (WA0JCT) and Brad (K7NNR) when I contacted them to give them the news: they had won the raffle drawing!

 

We have added an AllStar node class  for using any simple Handi-Talkie radio to talk all over the world. An operational AllStar node is at the Shack, too.  Come on by and give it a try! Also, a NEW Buddipole Antenna Systems class for SOTA, POTA, or HOA encumbered hams! Check them out!

 

We are starting our assistant monitor program to enhance your visit to the shack and will be adding enhancements to our shop area as well as other improvements.
