Message

April is finally upon us and we will be seeing the temperatures rise, the desert in bloom, and many of our friends will be heading back to their homes away from the Valley of the Sun.

April is also the last of our afternoon hours at the Shack. On May 1st our hours will switch to 9 AM to 1 PM Tuesday thru Saturday, with VE testing on the Third Saturday of every month.

We are excited to be adding  new classes this month (Electronic Theory and POTA radio operation) to our list of classes you can find offered on our website.

I want to thank everyone who volunteered to assist us for our first Auction held March 23rd.  There were many smiles after the Auction as our Bidders gathered their new treasures and went back to their shacks.

​

I was able to speak to everyone in attendance following the Auction and they all had a wonderful experience. I would also like to publicly thank all our Directors for a job well done and especially Director Gary K8BKB for planning and directing this outstanding event.

​

In closing, I wish all of our "Snow Birds" a safe journey back home and we look forward to seeing you back at the 'Shack' later this year.
